We recognize the importance of volunteers in meeting our mandate to "help organizations work better!" And we need your help!

Why volunteer?

• To support the work being done by the ODNNY.
• To develop skills in areas that match your interests: there’s a volunteer job for everyone!
• To network with other OD students and practitioners.
• For some great incentives (see below!)
• To log hours for school or other programs while working in an inclusive environment that supports personal growth.

Volunteer roles:

• Professional OD practitioners willing to give their time for pro-bono projects with non-profits
• Members to participate in special interest groups
• Registration at our monthly programs
• Website support
• Marketing support
• Programming Committee members
• Workshop facilitators/support
• Researchers and data analysts to help us develop a strategy for expanding our membership
• Writers to create post-program briefs

Discounted membership 

ODNNY realizes that volunteers are giving us their time, energy and skill. As a result, we want to appreciate you with discounted memberships. For 10 hours of volunteering or three event shifts, we'll discount your next membership by 50%. In addition, we'll also provide snacks where possible, reference letters and will check-in to make sure we're meeting your needs.
