volunteer for odnny

Would you like an opportunity to dig in and get involved, exercise your OD muscles, commune with like-minded (and mindful) individuals, influence the OD and change conversation, expand your professional horizons? ODNNY has an opportunity for you to do all of that.

Volunteering with ODNNY helps you:

  • Gain or hone skills in an area of interest and passion to you
  • Contribute to your professional community
  • Shape ODNNY
  • Work with a fun group of great OD professionals
  • Expand your personal network and learning opportunities

We currently have four different opportunities with the TAMU (Texas A&M) OD students.  These are all an opportunity to share you career path and expertise!

If interested in anything you see below, please email Professor Michael Beyerlein at beyerlein@tamu.edu to get involved.

Interview:  Pairs of students interview a professional about their career path and their favorite method or tool – about 30 to 60 minutes long.

Serve as a project mentor/resource:  Students will work in teams to diagnose an organizations OD needs and make recommendations in a report. They would benefit from having a professional act as a resource for their ideas.

Guest speaker: Meet via Skype with the class on Thursday evenings – for about one hour to discuss your career arch and answer their questions.

Take a survey to validate an OD Competency model:  One student has built an OD Competency Model and a survey to validate the model.  Your help in completing the survey will help the validation of the model!
