Are you ready to reinvent your organization?

Join the conversation as we discuss Aaron Dignan's book: Brave New Work

We're excited to have Kathryn Maloney and Yehudi Meshchaninov from The Ready, an organization design firm founded by the author Aaron Dignnan!

    About the book

Brave New Work reveals a proven approach for eliminating red tape, dissolving bureaucracy, and doing the best work of your life.

Dignan found that nearly everyone, from Wall Street to Silicon Valley, points to the same frustrations: lack of trust, bottlenecks in decision making, siloed functions and teams, meeting and email overload, tiresome budgeting, short-term thinking, and more.

Is there any hope for a solution? Haven’t countless business gurus promised the answer, yet changed almost nothing about the way we work?

That’s because we fail to recognize that organizations aren’t machines to be predicted and controlled. They’re complex human systems full of potential waiting to be released.

    Our Facilitators -

Kathryn Maloney, Founding Partner, The Ready

A partner of the org design firm The Ready, Kathryn helps global leaders recast their organizations’ operating systems to work with more meaningful and responsive designs. She holds dear the truth that at the foundation of any organization’s operating system are resilient and deeply creative humans — who co-exist with one another in the complexity of their individual mindsets. To shift to new ways of working, undertake fundamental systems change, and enact that change, groups of people need to behave into new ways of being, organizing, meeting, and thinking that disrupt the patterns, narratives, and habits built up and preventing flow in the system. Since 1998, She has advised, coached, and consulted to countless leaders, teams, and organizations often working in the largest existing bureaucracies to initiate and support change efforts. Her client organizations include Boeing, Boston Consulting Group, General Electric, Edelman, Kaplan Test Prep, Federal Trade Commission, IRS, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Health and Human Services.

Yehudi Meshchaninov, Organizational Design and Transformation Consultant, The Ready

For over 10 years Yehudi has been supporting individuals, teams, and organizations to develop the mindset and skills needed to be effective and happy in a rapidly changing world. He has coached personal and system transformation and lasting behavioral change across a broad range of clients, including school systems, creative companies, start-ups, and Fortune 500 companies. A  life-long learner, Yehudi blends theory and practice to provide meaningful insight, practical guidance, and courageous inquiry.
