Our member-driven community is fueled by you. The contributions of our members' time and talent inform who we are and what we do. There are endless ways to get involved and we’d love to hear your ideas. We have some ideas too and you’ll see the list below of what’s on our mind.

Social Media Ambassadors:  Are you interested in having an online community to share ideas and opinions with other OD professionals?  Use your voice to spark and join the conversations on our social media pages. If you don’t think you’ll be on our pages often enough, no problem.  Our social media manager will send you these OD related questions as they occur (infrequently) and if you’re interested in the topics, you can go right in and share your thoughts.

Blog Post Writers:  Would you like to develop your reputation as an OD thought leader?  In 2018 ODN of New York has a new theme each quarter that is connected to the bigger theme of being able to adapt and evolve as the pace of change accelerates.  You’ll be able to express your ideas, build on topics we tee up and along the way we’ll support you with editorial support.

Book Club Facilitators (via Zoom online):  Would you like to hone your facilitation skills and raise your profile in our community? You get a chance to engage the community in discussing a book you’ve found invaluable lately.  We work with you through each step of the way to promote and execute the book club.  Here’s a great way for you to participate your group facilitation skills.

Webinar Coordinators:  Would you like to expand your network by engaging with and supporting our thought leaders and speakers?  Perhaps you’d like to try your hand at being the behind the scenes zoom webinar producer?  Have an interest in playing “host” for the zoom webinars?  Whatever it is – there’s a role for you.

Live Event Coordinators: Do you throw great events or meetings?  Do you enjoy organizing and planning all details (both big and small) of a live event?  Live event volunteers help execute a live event from conception to clean up. They work with other ODN of NY volunteers to plan out event details. They may scout and book locations and catering. They make sure the food arrives on time and is displayed nicely. They stick to budgets while still being creative and resourceful. They help with set-up, including helping to get speakers, A/V teams and equipment situated, and generally make sure the event runs smoothly, efficiently and handle any crisis that may come up.

Copy Writers:  Are you a creative writer with an interest in the field of Organizational Development?  We need your skills!  Create campaigns to generate interest in our curated events and activities.  If you’ve never worked in advertising, no problem.  Someone on our marketing team will give you guidance on simple ways to use your writing to create campaigns.

New Member Ambassadors:  Would you like to expand your network and enhance your connecting skills?  Here’s your chance.  Join our Membership leaders in creating and launching a brand new role supporting new members in quickly getting up to speed on the ODN of NY "lay of the land" and help them make the best use of their membership.
