The Organization Development Network (ODN) of New York Leadership team is a group of Organization Development (OD) practitioners and leaders from our community. These “uber” volunteers devote their time and talent over a three-year period to lead and develop this community for and with you.

PRESIDENT & CHAIR OF THE BOARD

Raya is the president and chair of the board of ODN-NY. For over 10 years,  as an organizational psychology and development strategist, Raya worked alongside business leaders to support talent enablement and foster culture change. As a certified organizational coach, Raya uses a strength-based approach to help individuals and teams accelerate their performance and create synergies. Currently, as a Consultant at Russell Reynolds Associates, Raya leads the L&D portfolio for the firm's leadership and succession practice, working shoulder-to-shoulder with managing partners to foster talent, offer best-in-class solutions to clients, and ultimately drive revenue. Prior to this role, Raya worked as a trusted organizational consultant within various industries. She received her master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Adler University, bachelors in Psychology and certificate in coaching from the University of British Columbia.

BOARD MEMBER

Jason is on a mission to build an innovative network of professionals who are interested in understanding, developing and using the best practices in organizational effectiveness. He’s the Chief Marketing Officer of the Matrix Management Institute, and the Editor-in-Chief of OD Innovator Magazine, a digital publication dedicated helping professionals transform their organizations into cultures of success. Jason holds a BS in Journalism and Corporate Communications from the University of Kansas.

BOARD MEMBER

Kate Gerasimova, associate at gothamCulture, has over 7 years of consulting experience. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with the concentration in consulting. She is a Russian-native, lived, studied and worked in Russia prior to moving to the U.S. She leads a book club for Organization Development Network (ODN) of New York. She also co-runs a learning lab at ATD New York City Chapter (ATDNYC). Kate spends her free time playing tennis or discovering a new art exhibition in the city.

Dorothy Doppstadt brings a powerful combination of communications credentials as a national award-winning ABC News editor and dynamic educator to build happier, more impactful organizations, leaders, and teams. She has a proven track record, as a consultant and leader coach, delivering results for diverse clients such as: Fortune 500 companies, global financial institutions, media, higher education and The U.S. Department of Energy. Dorothy has the advanced executive and organizational coaching certification from Columbia University and post master's certificate in organization development from the New School.

BOARD MEMBER

Jared has committed his career to advocating for and creating inclusive and healthy work cultures aligned with business strategy. He recently joined the Employee Experience team at HP to lead transformation communication strategy across their business. He joined HP from Disney, where he most recently led culture strategy for their kid’s TV business. During his time at Disney, Jared developed and implemented mindfulness and emotional intelligence training, speaker series focusing on the topics of change and resilience, mentorship programs, internal communication initiatives, served as the chief of staff to the President, and experimented with new ways to collect employee feedback. Prior to his time at Disney, he helped launch several nonprofits and startup organizations.


Emily Kessler

VOLUNTEER COMMUNICATIONS LEAD

Emily Kessler is a consultant, coach, and facilitator with a Masters of Science in Organizational Change Management from The New School with particular expertise in organizational development, change management, and organization design. Working across sectors and industries, she leads the design, development, and implementation of change processes that helps people work through their organizational challenges and improve their experiences. Emily’s adapted design thinking, human-centered practice results in achievable action-oriented strategies for realizing short- and long-term goals and ultimately higher levels of engagement and adoption.
