About the book
Learning agility is not a new concept, but it took years of research to prove that it really does exist, and can be quantified on an individual level. Out of that research came the introduction of the Burke Learning Agility Inventory™ (Burke LAI) as the first reliable, theoretically grounded way to measure learning agility. This book explains how learning agility is measured, and explores the ways that this information can be developed and applied by individuals and organizations.
Jane is the founder of Perceval Associates, a consultancy focused on helping leaders deliver more compelling messages to their clients, investors and sales teams. She has advised many of the world’s top institutional fund managers, family offices, hedge funds, and private equity firms and their portfolio companies including management teams from healthcare, technology, insurance, food and entertainment companies. Jane is particularly skilled in helping teams to more effectively articulate their particular edge in terms of the real-world needs of their clients and markets.
Prior to the formation of Perceval Associates, Jane was an investment strategist with Citicorp Investment Management and held executive business development positions at Bessemer Trust and Swiss Bank Corporation. With an MBA in Finance and Investment Management from Fordham University, and a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Delaware, Jane earned an MA in Social-Organizational Psychology and Change from Columbia University in 2008 and was a teaching assistant to W. Warner Burke. She is a member of the board of 100 Women in Finance and has served as charter faculty for the Institute for Private Investors, a member of the Investment Committee of Women’s World Banking, and director of the Association for Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE).
